How to Find Us

Arrival by Car

From the A1, switch to the A6 towards Spiez.
At Spiez, leave the highway and follow the main road towards Frutigen / Adelboden.

In Frutigen, follow the local signs to the campsite.

Parking spaces are available directly on-site.

Arrival by Public Transport

The campsite is a 20-minute walk from Frutigen train station.

Frutigen is well connected to the rail network and is regularly served by trains from Bern, Thun, and Spiez.

From the station, you can comfortably reach the campsite on foot.

With the guest card, you can use public transport in the region for free.

Until when can we arrive?
Our reception is open for check-in at the following times:
 

  • Pre-season and post-season:

    08:00–10:30 AM and 1:00–7:00 PM

  • Peak season:

    08:00–11:30 AM and 1:00–8:00 PM
     

If you arrive later, please give us a brief telephone notice in advance at +41 33 671 11 49.

Until when do we have to check out?
To prepare the accommodations for the next guests, the following check-out times apply:
 

  • Campsite: by 11:30 AM

  • Rental units: by 10:00 AM


Is there a quiet period?
Yes, the quiet period is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Noise must be avoided during this time.


Is there a driving ban for vehicles?
Between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, driving on or leaving the campsite with vehicles is not permitted. This also applies to moving around the site.


Are dogs allowed?
Yes, a maximum of two dogs are allowed per unit. They must always be kept on a leash.


Am I allowed to fly a drone over Camping Grassi?
No, flying drones on the grounds of Camping Grassi is not permitted for safety and data protection reasons.


Am I allowed to make a fire?
No, open fires are strictly prohibited on our campsite. BBQ is only allowed with charcoal or gas grills.


Is there a restaurant on the campsite?
No, we do not have our own restaurant. The nearest restaurants are located 500 meters away.


Is there a washing machine?
Yes, we offer a washing machine (approx. CHF 4.– per wash cycle) and a dryer (approx. CHF 3.– per use).


Is there a communal kitchen?
No, unfortunately, there is no kitchen available for our guests.


Where can I freeze my cooling elements?
A refrigerator and freezer are available for free use in the common room.


What power plugs are needed?
On our campsite, you will find three-pin Swiss plugs as well as blue CEE plugs.


Why do I have to pay a tourist tax?
The tourist tax is a mandatory fee used by the municipality to finance tourist facilities and events. With the guest card, you receive discounts in our holiday region.


Can I park my car on the pitch?
Yes, you can park your vehicle directly on your pitch. There is no separate parking lot.
